Capt Neil has a fishing report!Posted in Blogs on August 02, 2011 by fishtale Capt. Neil Eisner of Fishing The Flats Charters said that this week’s weather was hot, but not as hot as the red fishing was. He fished both the incoming and outgoing tides and said that is was one of those weeks where it really didn’t seem to matter. They’d hit whatever you were throwing whenever you threw it. He used live shrimp on jig heads and pin fish and white bait on 2/0 circle hooks that were netted on the grass flats. Most of the reds he landed were in the slot and they were caught around mangroves islands and edges in Estero and Hell Peckney Bay.
